This 7th energy centre is related to our divine purpose 
It governs our understanding and spirituality.
It is affected by our connection to pure source energy

The higher self
The light body

If we have a clear connection to the Source energy this centre will be bright and effect the physical gland, the Pineal gland, which will lead to Enlightenment.

The pineal gland, a small endocrine gland in the brain, primarily produces and secretes melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep-wake cycles (circadian rhythms) and influences reproductive functions. It also plays a role in seasonal and stress responses.

Your pineal gland releases the highest levels of melatonin when there’s darkness and decreases melatonin production when you’re exposed to light. In other words, you have low levels of melatonin in your blood during the daylight hours and peak levels of melatonin during the nighttime.

The pineal also produces DMT,( N-Dimethyltryptamine) these crystalline substances are piezoelectric and can emit light when gentle pressure is placed on the pineal gland through Breathwork and Yoga postures such as the headstand.

If there is a lack of connection to the energy of this centre we may be

Materialistic
Unable to think clearly
Lack awareness of Source energy

An imbalance in this centre can lead to disconnection. To create alignment in this centre, it is necessary to:

To expand our perception

It’s important to understand the typical patterns of dysfunction, test to see the degree to which the pattern is present with a particular individual. A target approach in treatment and rehab excessed can then be devised to restore optimal muscle imbalance.
